Last week, I took this photo of my desk:
The plan was to take another shot today and show you guys how awesome my desk looks.
NOPE.
No photo for you.
Today, my desk doesn't look quite this bad (I've put away the Cinch and my 30 Days of Lists journal is safely tucked away).
I'm in the middle of a mini re-org of my studio; moving things around, repurposing a few things, boxing up (and possibly selling) stuff I don't need.
I'm also gathering supplies for holiday crafting (a few decor projects, Project Life and 30 Days of Lists).

I just updated the shop with the first round of holiday goodies.
December Daily Number Spots
My popular holiday-themed number spots (include #s 1-31 plus "joy" "peace" holiday" "2013"). Available plain circles or scalloped circles in several ink colors:
New this year = black on kraft (also available in plain circles or scalloped circles). I used a set of these for 30 Days of Lists last month and was super happy with them.
Holiday Die Cuts
The stars are still around in the neutral assortment (with the option of ordering a full set in any of those colors), but these guys are brand new:
That's total photo fail, but this is a set of vellum stars: red vellum (which is gorgeous), silver vellum (which looks a little like metallic pearl) and clear vellum.
New this year = reindeer! I'm completely in love.
Also new this year = woodgrain trees!! These photos really don't do these trees justice. They are punched from super thick embossed woodgrain paper. They're gorgeous.

Even though I'm still in denial that fall is upon us, I've had to quickly switch gears and begin prepping the shop for the holidays.
Yeah, I know. The holidays.
I'm currently looking back on last year's products and sales to assess what worked well and what didn't.
Moleskines and number spots will be featured again this year, as will paper trees and stars (both will feature fun new papers/textures!).
I took advantage of being alone in Seattle this past weekend and visited 2 of my favorite art stores. I picked up some awesome art and handmade paper:

I did plan for a big shop update this week, but 2 sick little ones have pushed most of that to the back burner. I will, however, share what I have so far!
Vintage book journals - 30 Days of Lists edition:
I have listed several vintage book mixed media journals. You can find all of them here (quantities are very limited).
Each of them has a printed title page.
Each of them also comes with a 30 Days of Lists embellishment pack.
I'm using one of these journals for this round of 30 Days of Lists. I'll be sharing it early next week.

I whipped up 2 different versions of tags. You can find both versions here. I'm using the vertical one on my journal cover; it's also included in the embellishment pack.

Hey everyone-
I hope you're having a great Tuesday. We're currently on tornado watch in Dallas; as I'm typing it's almost 4 in the afternoon and the sky went pitch black about 10 minutes ago. I hope we just end up with a few thunderstorms. Yikes!
I wanted to share a few new shop items with you:
Project Life Tag Series!
Since I originally created these tags for my personal Project Life album, they coordinate with the Seafoam kit, but these can truly be ordered in any color/colors you'd like. As soon as I catch up on a few orders, I do plan on making tags to match Olive as well :)

Happy New Year!
We had a very low key New Years Eve celebration: simple seafood dinner (lobster tails, crab and langostino) with the little ones, topped off with wine (white + sparkling) for me and my mister.
Since then, I've been focusing on revamping my calendar/time management/task management system for 2013. Right now, it looks like this (descriptions are from bottom to top):
1. Erin Condren Life Planner - Even though I have a TON of gadgets (MacBook Pro, iPhone and a few iPads), I have truly struggled to maintain an electronic calendar. I just couldn't get it to work for me. I'd heard about the Erin Condren planner for over a year and finally buckled down in August (I purchased an 18 month planner, so I won't need a new one until this time next year) so I could get my act together when school started. I really love it so far.
2. Paper Coterie Coilbound Journal - I placed a large order at Paper Coterie for the holidays and threw in this journal for myself on a whim. I can't resist putting my Instagrams to use. It's a basic coilbound notebook with lined pages. I plan on using it for business brainstorming and for writing blog drafts. I used to use a SMASH journal for this purpose.
3. Stitched Moleskine Cahier Journal - My ONLY complaint re: the Erin Condren planner is that there isn't nearly enough room for my multiple to-do lists. I could probably solve the problem by investing in a massive daily planner (similar to one I use to use when I worked a 9 to 5 corporate job), but I have no interest in lugging an extra five pounds around in my purse everyday. In December, I ended up using a Moleskine notebook to keep track of projects and to make notes on a daily basis. For the most part, it worked well; well enough that I decided to give it a shot for 2013.
I stitched "JAN" on a pocket sized Moleskine for myself (my preference is always grid paper) and decided to whip up a few more for the shop:
There are multiple cover/page style options to choose from. You can find them here. January is the only month currently available, but I hope to have gift packs (in three, six and twelve month sets) availabe shortly!

Stitched + personalized pocket Moleskine 2013 Weekly Planners! I decided to carry these planners by customer request; many customers loved my stitched Moleskine notebooks, but really needed a planner as well. Perfect! Check them out right here.
